I'm eager to buy this suite as l have Acid Pro 7 and can thus get upgrade pricing to move me up to the whole shebang.

However, my eMail to HQ has gone unanswered, not surprising as they have just launched a major revamp of Vegas Pro and are dealing with bugs etc.

Maybe someone can help me here. I am new to video but really hope to make money from this within a few years of learning curve. Call me OCD but l want a pure fresh install that l can image. I've probably exposed my Win 10 OS to the internet a few times already though l can't recall for what.

My issues are:

1. Win 10 is now old

2. I don't want to upgrade to Win 11 just yet, l'm hardly ever in Windows these days and it's just a major headache if my installed progs get broken

3. I don't really want to buy an AV either. The existinf one is Norton and it's about 10 years past expiry. Guess l'll have to though.

4. I'd really prefer offline activation just so l can image my Win 10 partition confident that l have at least one clean disk image that wasn't exposed to the interwebs, even if l later have to dip into the internet for plugin activation etc. I really cannot countenance malware if l have huge amounts of work passing through (i.e. connected media) or stored on the OS.

Am l being overcautious in demanding offline activation? Other softwares permit it.
