OFX headaches galore

I have VP14 Edit, VP15 Suite, 16 Suite, and now 17Suite. All are the last build available.

VP15 includes lots of NewBlue FX (Colorfast 2, Stylizers, TitlerPro 5, Filters 5,) along with BCC 3D Objects. They no longer appear in VP15. I've uninstalled VP15 along with all the NBFX and BCC. I reinstall everything again, and only TitlerPro 5 is there.

With VP16, everything shows up and works including all of VP15's NBFX (which do not show in in VP15) and BCC 3D.

I also have Ignite Pro 4.1, which should show up in VP15 but doesn't, but it does in VP14/16 and not in VP17. It did show up before in VP17 and 15.

I see only one folder here: C:\Program Files\Common Files\OFX, and each version of VP has C:\Program Files\VEGAS\VEGAS Pro xx.0\OFX Video Plug-Ins.

Renaming the Common Files\OFX to OFX_OFF seems to only load up the standard plugins in VP16. Change it back, and everything is loaded up in VP16 and 14. VP15 and 17... nothing really.

My question, before I do a massive uninstall of everything Vegas/OFX related plugins on my computer with Revo Pro, do these programs use different OFX folders as per version. Is there a way to "force" an OFX rebuild in each version. I've been at this for hours and hours. I'm ready to toss everything VP related and ask for my money back on VP17 Suite.

To add to my frustration, buying VP17 Suite was easy. Getting the Boris FX plugins?? I am still waiting 36 hours for an email from Boris that was suppose to come in under 30 minutes. It seems I'm not the only one with this problem .....

It looks, because you add here your problems, if you blame Vegas for this.
Because Vegas do use OFX Plugins from 3th parties you can't blame this program having difficulties with those plugins.
I think you have to go to those 3th parties for resolving your problems I don't have with all my installations, but I installed only NB Titler of all the ones I got trough the years.
On my second desktop with older Vegas versions ( Pro 10-15 and VMS pl 10-15) I also don't see your problems if I try them.

If everything works in VP14 and VP16, but not in VP15 and VP17, the problem is the plugin?

Ok... finally did a system restore and everything is back to "normal".

I have no idea what went wrong, but still would like to know where the OFX "stuff" is kept so I can back it up, and do all versions of VP share the same resources in this instance?
