Hello.
I'm currently writing a plugin for Vegas using the OFX SDK. I've been through the examples, the Sourceforge documentation and other articles I can find online. I can't seem to find a way of creating a custom overlay on the Vegas video screen. I appreciate the Sony SDK docs state some things aren't implemented but many of the Sony SDK examples include OpenGL draw functions. I'm wondering if there's some way of switching these on. I'd like to draw an oval or a rectangle onto the Vegas viewport.
A couple of things make me think this is possible...
1) In Vegas pro there is a crosshair shown for placement when certain OFX plugins are running.
2) In Vegas Studio 11, the text function (OFX?) allows viewport interaction with a rectangle guide.
3) As mentioned above, the Sony SDK examples include OpenGL OFX 'interact' code.
Thank you,
Brent.
