Ok, I see deleting Victor's posts is more important than my petty troubles

Any help here ? please?

How about building that direct - x "y-cable" to fix the
output routing problem?

Or better yet, a bypassabale pan control on the fx sends
per channel?

How about the " open copy in sound forge" issue?

And please, could someone at tech support explain to me any
audio improvements in the new update?

I know Vicator may be a big PAIN, and may seem quite
insulting, but he may be the BIGGEST asset your company
has, and he doesnt even work for you. If by some miracle
you could make him happy, you would have the best product
available ANYWHERE at any price!

Me and the sheep will continue to sing your praises to
new or potential users, simply because Vegas is a tool that
lets us work in a more productive way than probably any of
us ever imagined.

Victor, however, probably will not...unless...
Both Victor and the sheep have their place here, both will
continue to push the outer edges of this program and
feature set. Vegas can only get better from it.

Im sure that even Victor will admit that * from time to
time* he's seen more response and actual listening to the
customers from Sonic Foundry than Steinberg or Digidesign.
OK he may not admit it, but a quick glance at the Nuendo
forum will bear this out...and try to get a live person at
digidesign! HAH!

My problems are LEGITAMATE! They are slowing me down.
And affecting creativity, as it is VERY hard to apply any
fx. Please, a response would be nice.

Aaron,

You make some good points about Victor and everyone else, though I
think Victor could quit waving the flag for other products. We all
know what his default answers are by now.

I am curious to see the resolution of this problem too - but I must
ask - have you called tech support yet? They've been pretty good with
any questions I've had, and they keep pretty good hours too. I
wouldn't waste time in ANY forum with a real problem.

regards,

Paul

Hello Aaron.

We are familiar with these issues and we are looking into getting
them resolved as soon as possible.

As for your suggestions, these are good ideas.

Please visit:
http://www.sonicfoundry.com/support/feedback.asp

You can type them into that section of our website, they will go
directly to the product managers from there.

Could you elaborate on audio improvements?

Thanks.

Ive called tech support, but learned LONG ago...sure Tom H. is good
there, but Kelly, and Peter watch the forums a lot, and they are the
ONLY ones Ive ever gotten help from, so yeah, the forum is the best
place for me so far

Victor, this is a ridiculous statement.

These forums are not for personal attacks, these forums are not for
Nuendo, these forums are for Vegas and Vegas Video, and you rarely
post anything about them... to be honest with you I'm getting a bit
tired of seeing your ridiculous messages myself.

If you do not follow these guidelines, I really don't see why we
should continue to allow your posts to stay up, and I will delete
them if they are not related to the subject of this forum, just like
I would delete anybodies elses, you just seem to post more than
anybody else.
