A Vegas Script Window!

We all know that Vegas deals with scripts. Some of us use these scripts to do amazing stuff with. Howzabout a window - like the Trimmer, Media Pool et al which I can have my scripts pack in. Then it would only be a case of dragging and dropping OR clicking on it for the scriot to activate. Yeah . ! ! !. I guess I'm gonna get a lot of, "Well you can't do it because . . . . " . . .this has never stopped me from making suggestions.

This train of thought started as a result of looking at the amazing new scripts John Meyer has come up with over on the Sundance site. I thought I'd really like to have scripts more attainable to me edit experience, rather than go rummaging about in folders and the like. . .yes I've got my "favourites" on the Toolbar - Tsumie and XCAL2. Now, if this was possible, maybe a little graphic Icon that would act as an aide memoire to:

1) Inform me of what it did

2) Looking at the Icon/s selection would "stimulate" my possible creativity to try something out.

. . Anybody agree or disagree? Stupid idea or something that we could develope?

Vegas does scripts - Make them a Real Feature! Script Window 2004!

. . . now the little matter of bins . . .hey ho . . off we go . . .

If any you have been wondering where I've been - perhaps you haven't been - my telephone line's been busted. British Telecom came round this morning and a nice bloke ascended the pole and found the problem . . .

So that's why it's been so quiet lately.
British Telecom ... I guess you're just about old enough to remember "The gas man cometh" - hilarious, what?

About scrips: I think your idea is a good one. Maybe you should shut off your phone line more often.

Grazie,
having recently been in the UK, tell me do you get hit with timed call charges to call your ISP. If there was one thing that put me off the UK it was BT..
Trying to book a hotel room from a public phone box and enduring many minutes of muzak on hold proved to be rather expensive. We soon invested in some phone cards but even then it wasn't all that cheap.

<< I guess you're just about old enough to remember "The gas man cometh" - hilarious, what? >> went unanswered, so ...
Either you pretend you're younger than that, or
You are younger than that, or
You've forgotten all about it (being so old).

I'm talking about Flanders and Swann. Did some great shows in the early sixties, they did. Recodings produced by George Martin, no less. I'm sure you know the Hippopotamus Song? Well, The Gas Man Cometh is another. I'll send you a demo of it if you like. It reads like a film script - so it's on topic. :-)

PS
I didn't mean it - we've all missed you terribly!. Good to have you back.

Grazie Your not that old surely. Just a Thought :) but maybe Sony would need convincing. I reckon the thinking could be that as the scripts are. You have to do a little learning to use them. They are a way in for independants to add something. BUT not something that is tied to Vegas. BUT firmly outside the program as a SEEN add on.

I think what your suggesting would make it toO integrated for Sony and although an Excellently good idea would PERHAPS not be acceptable for sony. AAAaawwww

However.

I for one am all in favour of making scripts more Popular and
GO FEr It. Lobby em. Organised Marches... Hunger Strikes... Whatever it takes I feel you should do. And remember were right behind you.

Seriously though. A very good idea

lets have more Plugins and Scripts Please LOADS and LOADS
