Hoping someone can set me straight on what to do with my 720x480 home videos. Back in the day, I rendered them in Vegas then to DVDA. But, I must say, they look a bit sickly on my HDTV - including the DVDA menus. So I thought why not update my collection to pristine HD! I mean ESPN does it.
I began the process in Vegas of "zooming in" to 16:9 and then rendering up to 1920x1080 60i. That was the standard template that did not require DVDA re-optimization, but wow, this is taking a lot of effort and time. I am really wondering, is this the right process? Is there something a bit more simple that will result in some improved quality without having to do these steps?
Any feedback would be highly appreciated! Thank you kindly.
