old film effect - where is the jumping from?

Hi all -

I needed to use the old film effect for a retrospective - and although I like the FX of old film - with specs / lines / sepia etc.

The clips also JUMPS like crazy. I know it may be true to old effects - but it is too annoying for me.
The strange thing is I CAN'T FIND where the jumping is done -
I zero all the effects and the jumping is still there but when I disable the effect it goes away.
Can someone tell me where the jumping is coming from so I can make it less or stop it -
Is there some hidden Macro it runs that I can't see?

Are you selecting JITTER when doing this?

Scroll through each "Type" in the Film fX. For each type, the "Enable particles" will either be checked or unchecked. It is a very strange interface, with odd choices for the names of things (is jitter a "particle?"). Anyway, make sure that when you get to jitter, that the setting is zero AND the particle checkbox is clear. Then, go to the next "Type," and then back to jitter to make sure the checkbox stays cleared.

Yeah I don't like how sony did this. They should have 4 seperate slider bars for the different effects instead of choosing from a combo like that.
