On Camera Monitor to Replace DVRack

I'm done with DVRack/OnLocation. It is just no practical for a one-man-band like me doing remote wilderness docs to carry and power a laptop and have it where I can shoot and see it.

All I want is a small monitor to attach to the FX1 that has a histogram. That's all I think I need so does anyone have a sugestion?

I use and love the Delvcam DELV-7XLPRO 7" widescreen monitor that has a looping input. It is 16:9 1440x234 image with a 12v 2.1mm power jack drawing 8w 1200ma and a 1/4-20 thread on the bottom. With both Vertical and Horizontal image reverse controls, this monitor can be mounted almost anywhere

Many field monitors require additional battery packs or load up the higher end camcorders auxilliary feeds.

If you have leanings toward a portable Mac. Which could possibly make it easier to maintain a firewire connection then Divergent Media ScopeBox might fit if part of your annoyance with DVRack is the new Adobe ownership?

(don't convert the UK£ into US$ as the chances are that $1 = £1 given the different market dynamics of the sales regions and tax/duties footprints). Although I urge folks to keep this thread in line with what Mike is asking about please. Field monitoring is clearly rather more expensive if you attempt to remove the general purpose computer from the equation.
