One Page Menu with Chapters

I want to create a one page menu with 5 buttons, one for complete play through, and four for the chapters.

I wish to avoid creating a second menu page for the chapters.


Working with Vegas 6, & DVDA 3, I would welcome suggestions as how to best do that.

The project is a short, 15-18 minutes, slide show with music, so there is certainly room to have multiple video files created to match to each button, but that seems a bit heavy handed.

Drag your movie clip onto the main menu, assuming you've set you chapters in Vegas and specified that they be exported on render, right click on the movie and select "insert scene selection menu" - click OK on the dialog box. Double click on the menu item to navigate into the scene selection menu. Click and hold with the mouse positioned such that as you drag you can encompass all 4 chapter entries.

Ctrl/C

Navigate back to the main menu, CTRL/V - position buttons as needed. Select scene selection button and delete it.
