A Sonic Foundry employee recommended me to download the
newest version of Vegas Audio and install that, after
uninstalling the old version.

It turned out to be a mistake.

Surprise: The new version has to be re-registered. All this
would of course be just fine & dandy - if only the online
registration server worked! Currently the registration
process just hangs there until it times out.

Are the servers just too busy right now, since the new
version came out recently, or what? The fact remains, that
my work needs to be done. The software has now maimed
itself to a demo version.

I hope Sonic Foundry gets their act together soon.
