As if the Digi001 wasn't enough to clobber the
competition, digidesign is now giving Pro Tools 5.1
away for free! It'll be available in 8 days for both the Mac
and PC, no digi-hardware required.

Don't start thinking you don't need Vegas though, the
free version has only 8 audio tracks and 48 midi tracks.
But if you're interested in finding out why so many pros
cut on this software, it's well worth the download.
