opacity key framing

is there a way to keyframe the opacity level in the timeline, without having to adjust the whole track---i want to adjust only one clip.

1.right clik on the track > insert enveloppe > composite level
2.add/drag the keyframes...

If you only want that one clip at a constant level change, you can also move the mouse to the top of the clip and the click and drag downward. Either this or the composite envelope should do what you're wanting.
