Opacity Problem- Track Showing Through...

I have checked the opacity level- It is at one hundred percent. I can see a vague image in the background of the shot. I am currently editing three video tracks w/ 3 audio tracks. on the topmost track there is no issue with this. Whenever I remove a section of the top track to where the second track is the one being displayed, the third track shows through ever so slightly. I have played with the opacity but to no avail- 100% still shows through. I currently am not using any effects, just straight footage. Again, it only does it once I remove the topmost of the 3 tracks. If I hit the solo button, it does not do it. Am I just missing something simple? Thanks

Nevermind. I just figured it out. I used the scroll button while over the track controls and it adjusted the opacity there to 96.7 while the one on the track still showed 100%. That was going to bug me! Thanks for all the potential answers I would have recieved in a prompt fashion :)
