Open copy in SF not work in USB HD

Hello,

The function "Open Copy in Sound Forge" not work over files stored in a external USB enclosure. Vegas make an advise: "You are without memory, close programs, etc", but over files stored inside the pc works fine. But I have 1GB and no other programs are open.

"Open in Sound Forge" works fine, but the modifications are undeletable.

Any solution?

A simple solution/test would be to move your files to a local drive and of course set Sound Forge's temp/recording folders to a local drive (not USB/Firewire).

I'm surprised you don't experience streaming problems in Vegas just editing in Vegas from a USB external drive unless you have a hefty PC, very few tracks, FX, etc. in your project.
