I have Soundforge 8.0 and the latest Vegas 7.0c

When i add markers to points in vegas on the audio ie: gunshot, is there anyway that these can be seen and opened in Soundforge when i do "Open copy in soundforge" ???

This would save a lot of time, so that the exact audio is within soundforge and the markers are visible too so i have a visual representation of where things happen in the video??

I thought it did.... but upon trying it, your right is does not Good point, it would be helpful. However if you Render.. then open in SF, the markers are exported.
SMS should look into this but probably will not if recent history tells us anything.

Timeline markers do not get written to the files on the time-line. There are cases where this could cause problems. For the open copy in forge it might be reasonable to do this. I will bring it up for discussion for a future version.

You can open a clip/event/media in the trimmer, you can set markers in the media and then save them to the media file. When you then open the media in Sound Forge, the markers will be loaded.
