open in trimmer>add as take?

im trying to open in trimmer>add as take

i open in trimmer

and want to then replace a masked "placeholder" with the new clip.

i am not able to right mouse button drag and choose "add as take" to replace

Sorry - works here in the UK.

Two clips ClipA and ClipB. Open ClipB in trimmer; highlight an area within Trimmer; RT click HOLD and grab 'n Drag onto ClipA; release "Add as Takes" option menu comes up; Select "Add As Take" then release; Selection from ClipB added to ClipA as Take - confirmed this by viewing the Right Click on the "now" ClipB . .and there was the original ClipA in the "Take" Options. I can come from Explorer OR from an exsisting Timeline Event.
