Open Project should just open the project when it clicked and close the welcome screen.

Just watch this video to understand clearly.

Not confirmed. When you select a project, the welcome screen immediately closes and the project opens.

Is working normally at my PC, depending on the complexity of the project or when project is created with a previous Vegas version, you have to be patient the first time because in VP22 thumbnails and audiopeakfiles have to be regenerated when project was created in a previous Vegas version. Also no need to manually close Welcome Screen.

It is closing automatically in small project cases. i know sir...

but the issue of multi clicking on list is still there.

try a big project. It keeps open until project is keep opening.

and this also not stopping user to click again on projects in OPEN PROJECT list.

you can see in my above video.

if it will keep open until project is opening. it should at least freeze the user actions after first click.

when project is created with a previous Vegas version,

sir that project witch I was opening in above video is created in 22. it is just bigger with more than 300 videos.

please confirm this issue with following large project concept. and try to click on project list while project is opening.

thankyou.

Of course, it's none of my business. But if there are 300 videos in the project (they also wrote about 2000 here), he may think about organizing the project. There are well-known editing procedures and workflows. It's kind of weird. At first we did it incomprehensibly, then we want the program to do something understandable with IT.

😀

Except as a load test. But, waiting for this, it's not necessarily 300 clips either.

When I click on a recent project for opening, why should I click on other projects while that project is opening?

And when I do so it takes just a few seconds and the project I clicked last will be opened.

Honestly, I can't see the problem. If you don't want the project to load after you've selected it, use the Cancel option (bottom left hand). If you don't want to cancel, what's the problem in waiting for the welcome screen to clear when the project has opened. It's not as if you can do any editing while the project is opening.

what's the problem in waiting for the welcome screen to clear when the project has opened.

OKAY let me tell you guys... when I face this issue first time.

As I already had tried some small projects in this OPEN PROJECT case. Where It is working fine. closing as projects open.

and then, this large project case comes....

I click that project first time to open. Nothing happened, as I expected it will close and project will start opening.

so, I got confused and click again to reconfirm,

then I noticed it is opening as processing in status bar.

this I notice it is counting my both clicks twice.

why should I click on other projects while that project is opening?

I agreed. In same way if two projects cannot open at same time, then why re-clicking is happening there. It should be disable for preventing accidently clicked.

It is a kind of code missing situation.

and if VEGAS team thinks it doesn't matter than.

I have no issue on that. I will be habitual soon. I just play my duty to show an issue what i faced.

but when a new customer buys Vegas, he will get confused and will click again on that list.

so

I hope u understand what I am trying to say.
