I am opening a vob file from a previously recorded dvd. The vob file has the audio AC3 imbeded in it (not sure of proper lingo for that). The vob fiel opens very well but the audio is not there. How do i get Vegas 4.0 to recognise the audio that is in the vob?? One reason I am using the vob is that NONE of the rippers I've found make a good copy of the dvd. They all create extreemly low quality copies. I've tried several programs.
By opening the vob fiel I get a very clean fiel in my project. The video is perfect....BUT no sound. There is no sound file on the dvd thats seperate..its part of the vob.
