Opening rendered file

I have imported a DVD .vob file which I had renamed with an .mpg extension but after editing and rendering to a PAL DVD format (.mpg), I cannot open the file. I'm still very new to VMS so I guess I'm not doing something correctly. Any advice appreciated.

Do you know where you saved the .mpg file?

Being new to the program, I'd suggest following the Help > Show me how... tutorials.
