I have searched the forum and read quite a few threads about which monitor to get etc. and am having trouble coordinating all of the info.
I have the desire and the opportunity to buy two 24" monitors and advocates for acer, samsung, viewsonic, dell etc. conflict in their info and there are ALOT of opinions. I can spend around $300 to $350 per monitor and am prepared to buy a Spyder 3 Pro for calibration.
In my area I have a Fry's, Best Buy, Tiger Direct (now CompUSA), but am willing to order (new egg, dell, etc.) to get the right monitors. I have visited all of the above stores and compared products. From opinions on this forum (even allowing for "trolls" in the posts) quality, no matter what the company, seems variable .
I would like any and all constructive input on how to focus on buying a monitor and would appreciate specific recommendations and endorsements.
Thanks.
