"orphaned" ? does it matter

I've authored about 10 DVDs in DVD Architect over the last few years, including two weddings recently.

I always create my own buttons in Photoshop and then manually link buttons to movies.

In every DVD I've authored I always get the message in the Prepare dialog that a bunch of movies are "orphaned." The DVDs I author always work fine, but what the heck is this "orphaned" thing. Could it create problems I'm not aware of?

It means something -- a button, a menu page or a media clip -- doesn't have an End Action, or a link.

You should be able to see the orphans in your Project Overview window.

But if not -- and if your sure no buttons or video leads to a dead end -- it could be benign.
