Currently using AMD 5200+ Athlon64 X2 based computer for Mixed general

computing & video editing.It is a great little worker.

Thinking of getting 2nd hand HP Workstation XW8200 (Realize components have a

lifespan) as a dedicated editing setup.

nVidia Quadro FX 3400 Video Card, PCI-E x16, 256MB
Motherboard Slots : 1 PCI Express x16 Graphics Bus, 2 PCI, 3 PCI-X, 1 PCI

MB Does have 2 Sata Connections

Microsoft Windows XP 32 Bit Professional COA

Q 1 Would 8200 speed put AMD 5200+ in the shadows?

Q 2 Would existing 8200 configuration work if Windows7 64 bit was loaded?
Am I naive thinking an o/s is an o/s.

Q 3 Or does a MB determine 64 Bit mode possible or not ?
