It is always interesting to watch the forum slow down while waiting for a new release. Many posts turn to OT's as we are looking for something to discuss until we have new features to question.

Alas, we are in OT limbo...waiting patiently for some news.

OT limbo? Nah . . Creative minds willing to explore many and varied things. I've learnt masses of stuff as a result of this. Kinda nice/EXCELLENT to know that we have such experienced and "rounded" individuals on this Forum.

Meanwhile, I'm expecting a Vegas 7 announcement sometime soon. My big question is: is Vegas going to catch up to Premier Pro and use a Directshow pipeline approach that takes advantage of my GPU and lets me preview mpeg video smoothly?
