Official Dolby Processor

Back panel  - Strange output/input connector.
Any Idea what the connector is called? looks like one of those old PC Printer port connectors ;-).

List price:$13,450, for that money it doesn't even decode DTS! ;-))

v qts (Is that 5 quarts?):
I note what your post 5 said. My comments were to your responders in general as this is a subject I know a lot about and feel strongly about. I* still prefer good stereo on good speakers to 5.1

Do you have speakers already or ones you want to keep? If you don't you might consider powered speakers. There are some good ones around and the amp is always perfectly matched to the speaker (if you buy quality that is). I think next time I will do this. Yamaha has some good pro powered speakers and don't be afraid to go "near-field." For a small space like a domestic AV room near-fields work great IMO. Also get speakers from Japan. Most stuff made for the US market is overpriced dog-dodo.

The hall which I am going to use as presentation/ company cinema.
Is in length 18 meters, width 11 meters, and about 4 meters high.

So I am considering speakers that really does not need to be compact.

The best I would like speakers with dual 15 inch drivers which can work freely and give a full range sound because of the big enough surface of the driver cones.

For example the center speaker is usually very underrated.
I really become irritated by small compact center speakers that makes the dialogue sound like it is coming from a PVC Pipe.

I am not talking about high volume or desibels here.

It is nice to know that they CAN deliver high undistorted volume though.
For example at SFX etc.

The dynamic capacity.

Speakers will be build in the wall
like this.

Not behind the screen but beside and under the screen.

Ofcoure I would love to have the Synthesis speakers from JBL.

But after I talked to the JBL dealer here in the Netherland they said that the audio system only would kost me about 100,000 Euros.

So I chose for the JRX series.
Which I am going to tune a bit If I am not happy with the sound results.

I have made a good deal with a music instruments dealer here in the Netherlands for the JBL with the Crown amplifiers.
Did not purchase it yet though.
But for the budget/ quality balance I think that would be one of my best shots.

To be honest I like the separate amplifier option better.
The amplifiers are going to be right beside me on a rack.

Like that I can monitor their status.
Which I cannot say about the powerd speakers which are going to be build in the wall.

Also risk of fire hassard etc would be a bit more when build in I am guessing but that's another chapter;-).

And before the forum admins here become angry at me, of thinking that I am using their forum only for OT subjects.

All my movies showing there are going to be powered and created by VEGAS VIDEO 7 - Hoereee- ;-)).

After looking at your pictures I think you need a truckload of audio engineers.
