Besides the hated Realplayer itself, is there any player or utility out there that will play Realaudio files from the web? Or does Real still keep that format locked up in Proprietaryland? (bonus question: are the reasons most of us hate Real still valid? ie, changes your associations, nagging, all that crap. Haven't had it on my machine since the late 20th century).
I found something that I really need to hear (archived recording of an hour-long NPR "Talk of the Nation" debate I did years ago. Its amazing what they keep laying around....)
Perhaps I must bite the bullet, install Real, get my kicks, then call in the computer exorcists to expel the ghost in the machine?
Thanks,
Greg
