Since Im laid up for a bit, I got a HDTV Wonder card from ATI so I can capture some HD shows. This card also allows for a cable TV connection as well. I captured a couple cable shows (not HD) tonight and could not believe the amount of noise it captured. Now, I may have read once before why analog captures shows the noise in the video while my TV does not. One would think since it comes from the exact same analog feed, it should appear the same.
Can someone please explain to me why my analog captures look like crap on the pc while my analog feed into my TV looks clearer without all the noise.
BTW: the HD this card captures is really nice, just wish my analog captures looked better.
