Just picked up 2 20.1" FPW2005's from Dell from my cousin. He bought them back when Dell was clearing them out to make room for the new 20.1" model. They're Wide Screen and can rotate to be vertical like a peice of paper or horizontal for normal work. Now here's the best part, I got em for 350 each !!!

LOL - it's really funny too, my cousin tried to sell some on ebay and got banned for potential fraud.... POTENTIAL fruad, just be cause he got them when they were cheap and waited to sell them at a low price. I hate ebay.

Anyway - I just ordered a desk too - nothing major, but decent (Pic Here).

Course now it's a matter of actually getting the actual system components - LOL

anyway - just had to share my good fortune with the displays.... sometimes you just gotta brag a bit :)

How is the backlight uniformity on your screens? The 2005FPW's were plagued by fairly heavy backlight bleed, made worse by the fact that the issue wasn't the same across the board (some had it worse than others). Many believe that this is why dell had so many sales on the 2005's in the past year (reaching down to just under $300 at one point IIRC), as they were making room for the updated 20.1" widescreen LCD, the 2007WFP, which is now available.

The price is still good tho. I'm sure you'll enjoy them. Nice desk too :)

on a black screen I see a bit of difference - but only then, I never see it otherwise, that I know of at least.
