Not really, but thought you all would find this interesting. Microsoft has apparently told vendors that it's okay to offer an XP "downgrade" in order to sell systems.
Very happy here with XPpro, and I've "downgraded" all our systems to run XPpro.

I think Microsoft's greatest threat today is not Linux or Mac OS or any other platform.
Their #1 threat is their internal bureaucracy built up by Ballmer. 25,000 middle managers who make sure that nothing of substance happens without each one of them getting a chance to put their mark on it. End result = nothing can be done in a reasonable time frame, and their smartest developers leave as they see the writing on the wall.
This bureaucracy already destroyed Vista, and is now busy impeding progress everywhere else.
