Perhaps Ken Calhoun could offer a special price on a course in trading Microsoft puts?

I think Microsoft's greatest threat today is not Linux or Mac OS or any other platform.

Their #1 threat is their internal bureaucracy built up by Ballmer. 25,000 middle managers who make sure that nothing of substance happens without each one of them getting a chance to put their mark on it. End result = nothing can be done in a reasonable time frame, and their smartest developers leave as they see the writing on the wall.

This bureaucracy already destroyed Vista, and is now busy impeding progress everywhere else.

My company made an organisational change. Twelve people used to have a discussion and vote. Now twelve people have an opinion and one has a vote.

Some companies are running Oracle EBIS application servers using Linux and saving $$. I know I am tired of paying for those 25,000 middle managers!!

Oracle's latest 11g was released for Linux BEFORE it was released for Windows.

Ballmer should be afraid. He may be.
