that's done in 3D with the text actually having some depth to it. It would be hard to *really* replicate it in vegas, but not hard to kinda replicate it.

The ABC website provides streaming media broadcasts of the show in it's entirety. Perhapos you can figure out how to capture it from there...

Friar: This is what the intro looks like. They show the cast credits over the beginning of the program, so the intro itself is really, really short.

dibbkd: Here's it fairly well (with his own name, though). I imagine he used a program more geared toward 3D work, but who knows.

doesn't look hard but a 3d program would be best for the movement as you can see the depth of the text as it moves inwards.

TheHappyFriar, never seen the show?? how dare you!! :)

Just kidding, but it is my favorite show...

Anyway, I did my best with BlufTitler, came out not bad, but not as good as the original:

LOST

I then used Vegas to add the blur, and render the video and added audio.

Anyone have a better one? ( 'cause I'd love to have it if you do )

hey, i don't much time to watch TV anymore & I work evenings. :)

comments: slow it down by ~1/3rd & have them fade in instead of start all blurry.

but looks good.
