For once I'm thinking of not building such a thing myself (it can end up sometimes costing more to try to save money on DIY...) and considering perhaps getting the Visdec VF-AT-D dual-monitor articulating arm/s by Atdec. The product site has well done pdf brochure, 3D animation and installation guide.
As always, I'm having to be budget conscious and this brand and product seems to be one of the best values for the money--and looks pretty sharp too IMO.
Atdec MSRP is USD $229 B&H currently has it for only $119
Other places have it a similar, slightly higher prices.
Q:
Main purpose of the question is that Atdec says that the weight limit per monitor is 17.5 lbs.; my soon-to-be-delivered almost 24" Samsungs (23.6") shown below with 75mm VESA are 11.1 lbs. each, so probably OK (I'm just sometimes a tad skeptical of manufacturer claims :)
Thanks.
