Too bad those guys always recoomend the Pinnacle and Ulead editing products. Only once have I seen them mention Vegas. They even used to promote Dazzle stuff all the time. It's a good show, just don't take any of their product reccomendations too seriously, they seem to have a few companies, most of them sponsors, that they heavily promote and leave the others behind.

They talked about the Dazzle USB capture thing tonight. That said ya get what you pay for.

We should make a mad e-mail flood promoting Vegas. :)

I didn't mention this in my first post, but I mentioned this because it has some tips that are frequently asked on the message board, and/or in some magazines.

When a viewer called in tonight asking what he could do about his Pinnacle program crashing every time he renders, I wanted to call in and shout "Buy Vegas!". The caller wanted to know if more ram would help stop his crashes. :)

I love the TechTV channel!

(CFH)...'Call For Help', last week was all about building your own computer, step by step! (I wish I would have posted earlier)...

I know there was alot of talk about building your own computer in this forum a while ago, but I do have a link:

Here goes...http://www.techtv.com/callforhelp/index.html/

(Grazie, am I too late for you)?

:)

I was thinking and saying the exact same thing, just get rid of Pinnacle, get vegas and your computer won't crash, it's as simple as that. For some reason they just don't seem to Promote Vegas, or even Screenblast for that matter. I guess Sony must not be a sponsor of the show.

But apart from their bad product reccomendations, it is a really good show to watch, you can learn a lot about computers and technology in general, and don't forget Jessica and Sarah :)

I just checked out the Screen Savers site, and tonight they review the NLE's. Screenblast gets a mention.

They say that there is no trimmer to edit your clips is the only drawback. They didn't recomend ULead and said Pinacle was unstable. :)

Unbelieveable, they finally admit Pinnacle products are unstable. Now I have to watch it tonight!

Here's the link in case anyone else wants to read it:

Did you get to see it? They showed Screenblast first! Yeah! But, they never mentioned the audio capabilitys, and the said it was like a 'traditional" NLE. Wasn't the complaint by "traditional" NLE users that SoFo did make Vegas/VideoFactory traditional like? :)

Boohoo... I always forget to watch! Haven't seen it for about a month.

What day/network/time is it on?

I almost got too many channels even since I got the digital package.
Its kind of funny. I didn't know there were so many HBO channels and multiple history channels and on and on. I never bothered to count them all I must get at least 150 channels.
TheHappyFriar wrote on 11/12/2003, 11:17 PM
Um... it's on a couple times a day. According to their web site, it is on today (tomorrow centeral/west coast time) @ 8am and 12pm EST. That's 5am/9am on the west coast.

150 channels... wow. I have 1. :) And that's the channel I work at! :)
