OT: AVCHD Library software, other than PMB? Heeelp

Hi, me again.

I wondered if anyone could tell me of good reliable program like PBM where I can file all my AVCHD files along with my .AVI files? I love PBM for the clarity and ease of use but hate it for the face detection (takes hours and i useless) and other things... like I can't redownload the right version for window7 and my cam.

Anyone know of something similar? be nice if it was free/cheap.

Thanks a million,

peace

I do my own bookkeeping. Once PMB transfers the files and starts its navel contemplation I kill it and then transfer the files to folders according to category and/or shooting date. One good thing about PMB is that the transferred files are named according to shooting date.

I could name several other database programs for photos etc. which take over your computer and are determined to do things their way. That's why I don't use them.

It won't work with Win7 and your camera? Works fine for mine, and I do the same thing Peter does, put files in the folders I want them in. I even add finished projects in there on occassion and use it as the viewer because it's sooooo smooth and crystal clear.

I rather like Splash Lite as an AVCHD viewer too. (It nearly works smoothly on my netbook and better than PMB)

Thanks for the responses y'all. Appreciate them.

I have finally worked out the issues and got good old PBM back. I like the program enough to work with it as long as it works for me. We have a mutual relationship. ha

Does anyone know how to unregister viewed folders.. sometimes it just pics up folders that I don't want and clutters everything..?

thanks
