Hello guys,
We are looking to buy or build another computer for our backup and rendering (especially video files). I have considered purchasing a computer from BOXX but thought I would see what you guys are using now. Please offer any suggestions.

1. Is anyone using a seperate Raid system?
2. SCSI drives or SATA or other?
3. Is anyone using blades?
4. Anthing else?

While rendering client video files, it many times takes all night! We need to get more projects completed in less time. I have looked at the BOXX computer, especially the one they advertize for 3D work. It uses a quad-core Xeon CPU.
