Anyone ever use one (especially for video)? There is a decent sale on one and I was wondering if it was worth it.

That looks like the computer monitor going for $179.99AR at CompUSA currently.

BenQ is a good brand, but I think the best affordable LCD computer monitors right now come from Samsung. I recommend looking at them side by side with others, then you'll see why I like these (I have three of them, two 19" and one 17").

They are available at very good prices too nowadays, even at regular stores.

Circuit City has the Samsung 912N 19in LCD 800:1 contrast, 25ms response for $379.99AR.

Staples and CompUSA have the Samsung 712N 17in LCD 600:1 contrast, 12ms for $279.94AR

No computer monitor will show you video right. For that you need to go out via firewire to a good TV or better yet a NTSC video monitor.
