I hope you're right. The absolutely solid playback of my red laser HD discs on any HD DVD player has got me rooting for HD DVD big time.

Just one guy's (biased) opinion. It's far from over.

Jay, HD-DVD projected sales of players and their manufacturing reduction is a real event. I was surprise that "T" has cut back such a large percentage of production of players this quick with MS and Intel claiming HD-DVD was the future with HP looking over their shoulders. A somewhat unless rumor running around is that the big studios did a double take about looking at HD-DVD when the adult XXX crowd was claiming HD-DVD was their future media in the big media market, as a last ditch effort to save the XXX $$$. It seems the XXX's golden egg, the Internet, has hatched and is killing the big XXX,s $$$, with the free XXX posting world wide. The big studios see a opportunity pickup some "gray" market value

Blu ray won again... I thought they won last month. No, no... sorry, that was HD DVD... it was Blu ray that won previous to that.

Boy... if I had a dollar for every time one of these formats won!

Don't you just love PR spin! Its like dealing with a used chev salesman trying to sale you a "low mileage" 911 Turbo Porsche on a Honda dealership lot.
