OT: bluetooth audio signal recording? anyone?

Got a new cell and now I'm wondering if there's a way to record audio over the transmitted Bluetooth. Audio only interviews via phone are a viable solution for distance interviews with no travel budget and with my old cell I had a decent recording device that jacked out of the headset jack - unfortunately this phone is BT only - (SONOFA!!!) - didn't know it at the time I guess, so anyway - any notions? or possibly a BT headset that has a jack? - am I able to pickup the BT audio signal to a BT adapter on my PC and record it that way?

Thanks for the input boys.

Dave

Bluetooth is very short distance. Phone audio quality is awful. If those two things are not a problem, then it might work.

BT is just a data transmission protocol, so the sound quality is determined by the gadgets at each end.

I have a Logitech headset with (comparatively) very good sound quality, but there are many ways to get interference (microwaves for example). You could perhaps gaffer tape a lav to the BT ear piece, and wrap a thick sock around it.

Conceivably, it might be possible to connect your phone with a laptop with a BT USB adapter, then recording directly from Vegas, but there are several ifs.

If you could get a Skype connection instead, that should give you much better sound quality.

Bluetooth is also one-transmitter to one receiver.
