Hey,
this might be slightly off topic, but just got Boris Red 3gl, and am trying to learn it. there are some VHS tapes put out by a company called Desktop Images.. does anyone have these? or used them I hear they are based on Boris Red version one. are they any good? Would like to get some input on them , before I plunk down the money.

I also ordered the student training manuals from the boris web site, what they don't tell you there is the manuals are for versio 2.5. Red looks like a great product , how have people learned it? are there any books out about RED?

thanks to everyone for their help

I just got it myself, it's a pain in the butt since it doesn't integrate with vegas how I thought it did, but after a few hours I realized that if u are successful in seeing the effects happen in the composite window, you just need to close that down, then save settings and it will be in Vegas right then, applied, done. These effects take a long time to render compared to Vegas because they are really sophisticated.
