Sorry about being so Off Topic......

I am looking to purchase a "camera" that I could mount to a ball cap which would connect to my A/V input connection on my Mini DV camera. I would like to film my mountain bike rides for a video I am working on.

Does something like this exist? If so does anyone have any links where I could purchase on or perhaps build something that would do what I want?

Thanks for any suggestions

I would do a search for R/C video cameras. There are a whole range of miniature, lightweight cameras designed for radio controlled (R/C) cars, airplanes, etc. Many of these are wireless, a feature that might give you another degree of freedom.

You might also check out the various home automation sites. They also feature small cameras that are designed to hide in small places. Here's a link to my favorite site:

Smarthome

I have contemplated getting a small helium balloon from Costco (they sell the helium tanks) and putting one of these aloft in order to get very close "aerial" footage of exteriors. I've never had the time, however, to set it up.

Samsung just came out with this one. Just for what you want to do.

(sorry, haven't looked at how to do the nice hyperlinks that others provide)

Only drawback is MPEG4 to flash memory. Wonder what the resolution/quality is.
