I am glad that I did not get the C100 yet. An upgrade has just been released.
One of the things that bugged me on Mark I is the paid dual pixel focus upgrade that had to be done separately after purchase. That is now included and the AF is not just limited to the centre part of the sensor anymore. The new AF system even has face detection.
Which is great for run and gun one man shooting (which I will be doing often too).
I love my Sony Cameras. But the EOS line gives great cinematic look and skin tones without the need for heavy grading.
I just hope that Vegas will handle the files fine.
It now supports varied compressors.
It is no 4K camera. The only thing that I would use 4K for is cropping anyway. I have thought about the BMD Ursa, but the 7 plus KG weight is a big deal breaker for me.
