OT-Canon XA20 (GF30) Problem

For some reason, one of my XA20's is refusing to let me adjust exposure manually. Using the touch screen, the scale is greyed out on zero. The custom dial button does the same - stuck on zero. Auto exposure works perfectly, and the 'backlight always on' setting also works fine. Can anyone shed any light on this? ('scuse the pun :-)

I used to own a GF30 and I am wondering, did you do a firmware update? It may also help to reset the camera to factory settings.

I was about to head out on a job, so didn't want to take a chance and break it completely. Bizarrely, when switching on when I got there, the manual exposure was working normally. This despite spending about 2 hrs before leaving to no avail. What isn't still working though is the custom dial - which is what I prefer to adjust the exposure with, rather than the touch screen. I'll try a factory reset, and see if that works. Manual at the ready again.......

Saved my camera settings. Did a factory reset. Custom dial working perfectly again. Reloaded my settings. Custom dial still working perfectly. Happy bunny. :-)
