OT: Check out this guy's LCD Monitor tripod rig

"Well, I couldn't resist. I got this LCD from mp3playerstore.com. It's a 7" LCD TFT meant for a car headrest. In my early tests today I have to say its not perfect for focusing. Having said that, it is great for framing a 16:9 shot, which is mostly what I am interested in. These pics give the impression of instability, but it is rock solid. The monitor itself is light and the accessory shoe is robust and rotates in most directions. Its powered by a pack of 8AA batteries. It looks messy but with the help of spot ties and such I have full tripod head movement in all directions. I've included pics of it with and without the 7" 16:9 Hoodman. I'll probably end up having both LCDs on while shooting. Practical? We'll see. Fun? You bet. "
