OT: Cinematography - Fados

Taking up Scotts suggestion
Saw the movie at the Sydney Film Festival a few nights back. Great example of what great lighting, perfect sound and a bucket load of skill can bring to the screen. No VFX, probably the most complex thing done in post was the simple composite done for the opening titles. Apart from some rear projection, big scrims, big mirrors, big studio with a mirror like floor and a Technocrane that was it.

The trailer is on Youtube, doesn't do it justice, you really need to see this kind of work from a 35mm print. There seems to be some discussion about how authentic the content is to the true Fados music but that's a different matter. The cinematography is the thing to see it for even if the music isn't your thing.
