I had to pass this along because I just got mine so I can swear to it's validity. When you sign up for ClubOnkyo you get 10 points which translates into $10 on a purchase. When you purchase you get additional points. They have ClubOnkyo specials that are hard to beat especially on "refurbished" items, but also on regular items as well.
I ordered a refurbished HT-S780S Home Theatre in a box for my son and his wife as a gift for the holidays. It also came with a Free Onkyo DVCP702S 6 DVD changer. I looked at both boxes when they came and they said "minor cosmetic defects". I couldn't find any except for a slight burnish mark on the tuner knob of the HT receiver. The DVD changer had absolutely none and neither did the speakers. The system sounds great and the powered subwoofer is excellent. I ran it through the mill before repacking it as a gift. There is a currently a 20% off code which is HT20. Apply it when you check out.
The delivered cost was $337. I had 23 club onkyo points. If you are just signing up then the delivered price would be $350. They also have receivers, etc . Look for the "ClubOnkyo Special" notations in Red for the best buys.
