OT: condensation

I know better than this, but in Savannah Ga, only 10.00 am hot as hell and you could see the humidity in the air. Out of the hotel comes the camera, set all up , and ready to shoot........... tape pops out of the cam , try again ,same thing and now a blinking light of horror flashing at me, condensation detected!!!
Lesson learned,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,again. Must remember this time.

Next time, try putting the camera in a plastic bag (with plenty of air) and take it outside well before you want to use it, giving it time to "warm up" in the bag. Won't take too long.

Its one of those things, I knew what to do, just sidetracked with other stuff and forgot a basic, like the time my audio guy forgot,, well not going to get in to that
make a list and check it twice.,

One thing that can really trip you up. Sony cameras only reset the condensation alarm when you remove the battery.
Adding desicant to the sealed plastic will help also.
