OT: Covert AIFF to WAV...? Jay Gladwell wrote on 5/22/2007, 11:15 AM I did a search but couldn't find anything (that doesn't mean it's not there). How do you convert an AIFF file to a WAV file? Does it require the purchasing of additional software? Thank you! Back to post

Dave T2 Jay Gladwell wrote on 5/22/2007, 12:08 PM That's what I thought, but Vegas (v5) won't accept it. I get a message that reads: "An error occurred while opening one or more files. The file is most likely corrupted or of an unknown format." The file plays perfectly in the Quicktime media player. Former user wrote on 5/22/2007, 12:13 PM I have version 6, Maybe it requires 6 or higher. Try AUDACITY. It is free and claims to handle AIFF. Dave T2 Jay Gladwell wrote on 5/22/2007, 12:23 PM That appears to have worked. Thank you, Dave! Former user wrote on 5/22/2007, 12:27 PM You're welcome. Have fun!!!!! Dave T2 1
