Brought this up once before - I have some stock footage shot here in NY (Statue of Liberty, Staten Ialand Ferry, flags, moon, etc...). Is there some type of clearing house where I can trade my footage with others for other shots I might need? Would anyone be interested in something like this or am I farting at the huricane?

This is a terrible, unethical and immoral suggestion but....

It's so easy to shoot your own. Just setup camera on side of freeway, one will happen right before your lens, just make certain you don't become part of it.
I don't quite know how to categorise this sort of thing, is it bad behaviour on the part of the news crew or does it just show how stupid we all are, taking our eyes off the road to gawk at the guy with the camera.

Bob, I'm not sure what you're getting at, but I shoot this stuff for the local fire department. They get to use it for training and I can use it for stock footage. There's no blood and gore.
