Having the same cam I can confirm that it uses a rolling shutter and the effect you see is caused by your MC engine vibrations. They are transmitted via the camera attachment causing vibrations at the camera body that are causing interference when they are close to the frame rate speed. This is similar to the effect you can sometimes see with bare eyes watching a CRT television when simultaneously shaving using an electrical razor...especially when touching the upper jaw - from where the vibrations transfers to your eyeballs...

You need to isolate the cam better from the motor induced vibrations.

Absolutely.
When I was shooting my demo I used the included suction mount on the windscreen. I could tell straight away the camera was vibrating too much and used a small block of foam between the camera body and the glass to dampen it.

I've also got a number of Sticky Pod suction cups, the material they're made from proivdes quite good damping but once you mount a camera on anything like a stork expect problems. All the pro vehicle camera mounts we have use three points of attachment.
