I just got finished watching this Good Copy Bad Copy, a documentary from Denmark. Covers many topics including copyright, sampling, piracy, and alternative business models. I especially found interesting the segments on the Nigerian movie industry and the current Brazillian music craze.
On topic: There's a guy about 41 minutes in that remixes (downloaded) music with Vegas 7. (He doesn't mention it by name, but you'll recognize the interface, and the title bar can be seen later on.) No mention whether or not he paid for it. ;-)
