Stupid Transcoder? Most of us just import the .mov files directly onto the tl and let Vgeas do the convert. However, if i need to batch convert say a color change to the file I do that in the Juicer and keep it as a .mov file to preserve trans if needed. All works fine for me.

I was surprised by that outcome, presumming that the majority would already be using HD.

This poll on other forums produced similar results. About half of the people shooting DV as a business are shooting SD and have no plans to move to HD-anything.
