That's about what they're worth. You get what you pay for.

I have VT3, and there are very few clips that match the quality of my own cameras.,. and I'm only shooting 3-chip SD.

Much of their footage looks as if it was shot with consumer 1-chip cameras, and bought at a content clearinghouse.

I have to differ. Many of the shots originated on film and some of the footage has been worth it's weight in gold for me especially if using in an SD project. The price for what you get is unbelievable. Being able to use this stuff in just one job will pay for itself. Marc

I bought all 3 of the SoundFX libraries last year and they were well worth the money.

I have no complaints about the SoundFX libraries, but I have to say that both Gates and Marc are right about the VideoTraxx.

Check to make sure you get clips you need, because it's more like sifting nuggets out of a stream than driving full trucks out of a solid goldmine.

I have all three SFX sets and they have met so many of my needs. I use them a lot for 8mm silent films and they bring life to those old films. I use them for most of the video I produce as well including personal vacation films.

All of these are wonderful additions to any media library. Some of the shots are fantastic. The sounds are superb with a wide range to choose from. You can actually create a no-shoot commercial from what's available in these products.

I definitely recommend getting them all.

I don't expect much with these video libraries, and they live up to that expectation.

Yes, there are some nuggets in there, but they are few and far between.
